TIMING is everything! Throughout my life carrying precious memories of my Gran?s family and my indigenous heritage; little did I know the huge journey I would be taken on? Beginning at five when I was befriended by a young aboriginal girl named Jedda, she was such a beautiful soul; it broke my heart when she was sent away.
Many wonderful experiences occurred, I was gifted all manner of artefacts including my beautiful seed bowl that for me represents the seeding of knowledge which I have been tasked with as an author. Our heritage was hidden till 1991 when I asked my father for the truth, my cousin was fearful his teenage daughter might commit suicide after lifelong harassment. However, due to my memories, the truth came as no surprise that my Gran?s grandmother was full blood. MY search to find Frances and her story is about to begin unfolding when we go to St George shortly.
Being taken to a place where my Gran and her mother were born, for me is the epitome of finding where I belong in my family. Vastly different to my siblings and parents in every way that counted, I never felt I belonged. My people are a very old race and a very spiritual one. Throughout my life I have been given visions and dreams about my culture and shown I am accepted as part of the whole. If you are like me with a foot in both worlds, then know you can still be given beautiful messages and knowledge even so! Someone gave me an analogy recently, it doesn?t matter how much milk you put into coffee it IS still coffee.
