My life from then until the end of 2015 was not what either of us had anticipated and was about me becoming his advocate and focusing my attention on helping him to get well again.  After that I studied for two years to achieve my qualifications and getting work. It was only after this that I began once again to think about the book which took me on a journey. I began to see just how much I had come to terms with learned from and how much I had grown. There were times that certain things came up that I needed to reflect on and go deeper into leading to more healing. All the way through I was reminded of how I had been guided, protected, loved and shown amazing things in the most unlikely of places and events. On this journey I was moved to look back at information I had been given in many different ways that I also recognised was important for others to hear. We are always tested in our resolve to see what we will do. The day came when I began to doubt myself and fear raised its ugly head and questioned myself whether others would be interested in hearing what I had to say. Within an hour I had my answer, two young women had been sent to me to tell me ‘You need to write this book because there are others out there young people like us who need to hear your stories.” I hadn’t even thought about young people wanting to read it, though I did recognise it was possible it was for a wide range of readers.

So here I am excited, a little daunted but happy to share my stories with you that they might encourage you to look deeper into what you see around you and are given to experience.
