Art therapy is based on ‘art’ as Therapy.

Art therapy colouring in books of today are good for stress release and relaxation only. They do not address the underlying problems or issues that the field of art therapy works with, which offers much more on a deeper level to assist clients to move beyond these situations.

Take my hand, find your strength and look to the light. We are all worthy of being loved and healed so we can continue our journey to where we were meant to be, being the amazing light we came to share.

Testimony

I had five private sessions with Marnee who helped me work through a range of issues from my past. Marnee is a very gentle, kind, respectful and client led art therapist. I love the activities we did in sessions as they were really helpful, insightful and eye-opening into what I was going through and needed to learn or be aware of. I found each session very helpful in dealing with what I was going through and connecting it to what I needed to work on in my life. Marnee is a very grounded person and I found her presence as I was working through some difficult life stuff, to be calming and caring. I will continue to use some of the activities she did with me in sessions, in my every day life to help me stay present and mindful of my body, emotions and thoughts. Thank you Marnee. (K.H.)
